All Notify.com APIs utilize the standard of Internet communication, known as the HTTP POST.

This means that access to the Notify.com APIs is available from any Operating System, using any programming or scripting language.

In addition, the HTTP POST supports SSL encryption, to ensure all communication with Notify.com is secure.The Notify.com APIs include:

• Alert API:  sending messages directly to selected Users, Groups or Subscriptions

• Alarm API:  transmission of alarm data from any system, application or device

• Heartbeat API:  passive monitoring of systems and applications
